Queensland is already at the forefront of becoming a renewables, hydrogen and clean energy manufacturing superpower – we’re now accelerating our progress with our newly released Energy and Jobs Plan.
Queensland’s Energy and Jobs Plan builds on our investment to date and positions Queensland to have a thriving clean energy economy. It is a Plan that works – delivering more jobs and creating clean, reliable and affordable energy to provide power for generations.
It sets out our pathway to a cheaper, cleaner and reliable energy system to ensure our Government delivers 50% renewable energy by 2030, 70% by 2032 and 80% by 2035. These targets will also be legislated.
Our Energy Plan will benefit Queensland communities, workers and our economy. It is what’s best for our environment, our state, and our future.
If the LNP take government in Queensland, all of this progress would be under threat. We can’t let that happen.
