How do I have my say?
People join Labor for many different reasons – from helping on campaigns, getting involved in Labor policy or joining an equity group or association, there’s something for everyone.
The only way to have your say, is to make sure that you are a party member. If you haven’t yet joined, join now!
GET REGISTERED
In order to exercise your democratic rights as a party member, you must be a registered member.
To register, you need to attend a branch meeting or an equity group meeting. You can do this in person or by videolink.



GET ACTIVE
Once you are registered, there are a number of ways you can have your voice heard.
- Help create Labor Policy
- Join your union
- Attend your Local Policy Conference (LPC)
- Join an Equity Group or Labor Association
- Help out on your local campaign
