Trish Mears

Trish Mears knows there is no better place to live than her beautiful region.

She has managed commercial radio stations, worked in medical software marketing, and served in local government. She now helps businesses with marketing and community engagement, with communication being her passion. For Trish, achieving good results for people is what drives her every day.

She was proud to be named the 2023 Citizen of the Year for the Bundaberg Region. She is currently the Board Chair of Partners in Care Together (the region’s local health services fundraising foundation), President of Moore Park Beach Arts Inc., and Secretary of Bundaberg Players Incorporated.

Trish understands the challenges people face, whether it is looking for work, paying bills, or finding somewhere to live. She knows individuals and families are doing it tough, and she is compelled to help.

Labor is providing cost-of-living relief for families and workers by delivering a tax cut for every taxpayer, energy bill relief, fee-free TAFE, strengthening Medicare, cheaper medicines and more affordable childcare.

This election, voters have a choice: to build Australia’s future under Anthony Albanese and Labor or to go backwards with Peter Dutton and the Liberals and Nationals.

Trish is proud of her reputation for getting things done and is ready to bring her years of experience and passion to advocate and deliver results for the people of Hinkler.

She will always fight for a better future for Hinkler.
