Peter Casey

As a recently retired engineer working in the energy sector, Peter Casey is a passionate advocate for our transition to renewable energy and the environment.

Alongside Labor members as part of Queensland Labor’s Environmental Action Network and Community Groups, and with strong leadership from Labor Governments, Peter has championed Australia’s progress and adoption of renewable energy, a strong response to Climate Change and the adoption strong emissions reduction targets.

As part of our renewable energy transition, it is important that Australia’s future is made in Australia. Peter is an experienced campaigner and policy maker who, as part of an Albanese Federal Labor Government, will fight to ensure everyone benefits from a Clean Energy Future.
