Morrison Lakey

Morrison Lakey has lived on the Coast his entire life and is running because he wants to give back to the community that raised him.

Losing his father at a young age taught Morrison the value of family and resilience, fuelling his commitment to ensuring the government looks after all Australians when times are tough. He believes politics is about service and wants to ensure that Fisher has a local representative who puts people first.

His background in hospitality, the legal sector, and public service has given him a strong understanding of how good government works and the vital importance of supporting the local community.

Labor’s number one priority is delivering cost of living relief with bigger tax cuts for every taxpayer, 20% off student debt, energy bill relief, cheaper childcare, strengthening Medicare, and cheaper medicines, but he knows there’s more to do.

As the local representative, Morrison will always fight for the things that matter to the community.
