Kate Flanders

Kate Flanders was appointed as Queensland Labor’s State Secretary in June 2022.

Prior to entering party office, Kate was the Assistant Secretary of the Together Union, where she had spent most of the last two decades campaigning for access to world-class public services for Queenslanders, for gender pay equity and for safe and secure jobs for working people.

Kate has a law degree from the University of Queensland.
