Greg Johnson

Fourteen years ago, Greg and his wife wanted a tree change and moved to the idyllic Stanthorpe where their daughter and grandkids live, and their adult son in Warwick. Having family close to Greg is important, and he knows that only the Miles Labor Government is doing what matters for young families in regional Queensland.

Labor’s cheaper energy plan will deliver Southern Downs families with cleaner, cheaper, secure energy, and adds to new Premier Steven Miles’ cost of living measure of giving households a $1000 energy rebate.

Now retired, Greg is proud to stand with Labor who are delivering the Big Build for Southern Downs with new and upgraded infrastructure in the region.

Labor is also investing $20.2 million in a new Millmerran Multipurpose Health Service facility which will support contemporary models of care for the community. Greg knows having access to healthcare closer to home is what matters, unlike the LNP who will cut what matters to Southern Downs families like when they sacked nurses.

As a local who is invested in his community, Greg backs in Labor’s Community Safety plan that includes a $21 million to upgrade the Warwick police facility to ensure local police officers have the modern facilities they need to keep the community safe now and into the future.

Healthcare, education, cheaper energy is all under risk if the LNP are elected as they have no plan for Queensland other to cut essential services and sack essential workers.
