Corinne Mulholland
Corinne is a working mum, a proud fourth-generation Queenslander, disaster management specialist and qualified lawyer who is deeply honoured to represent our great state in the Australian Senate.
Raising her young family in the outer suburbs, Corinne understands the challenges facing Queensland families. She knows what it’s like balancing work, family, and the cost of living.
Corinne is proud to be part of an Albanese Labor Government delivering real solutions – lowering the cost of living, putting money back in your pocket, and making it easier to buy a home.
Corinne is working to make the lives of families just that little bit easier, with:
- More bulk-billed healthcare, close to home – including our new Medicare Urgent Care Clinics.
- Affordable and accessible Early Education and Childcare.
- Access to university, TAFE and apprenticeships that won’t leave you with a lifetime of debt.
- More housing, and a real chance at buying your own home.
Corinne has a proven track record of delivering. She fought for major infrastructure and service upgrades in the outer suburbs, including the Petrie university campus and new sporting facilities. She led a campaign that secured a much-needed MRI machine for her local hospital – because she gets results.
As a former disaster management specialist, Corinne has led teams to improve preparedness and response strategies across Queensland, our most disaster-stricken state. She knows how to protect communities when it matters most.
Corinne is a Community Ambassador for the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, an organisation undertaking groundbreaking medical research in heart and lung treatments. She has served on a range of local charity boards including the Deception Bay Community Youth Programs.
In her spare time Corinne loves going to the gym at Fitstop with her local crew, enjoying Queensland’s stunning beaches, and drinking too much coffee with family and friends.
She has a passion for consumer rights, affordable and accessible childcare and protecting worker’s rights.
Corinne knows what good government looks like when it works and who pays the price when it doesn’t.
She will work every day to make Queensland a fairer, safer, and more decent place.
