Ben Driscoll
Ben Driscoll was appointed as Queensland Labor’s Acting State Secretary in July 2025.
Born and raised in Rockhampton, Ben first joined the Labor Party after leaving high school. Growing up in a family of public servants fostered his passionate belief in the power of government to change working people’s lives for the better.
Ben has held a number of party positions, including State and National Conference Delegate, National Policy Forum Member, and various branch and local campaign positions.
Prior to entering party office, Ben was a Chief of Staff and Principal Advisor in the Palaszczuk and Miles Governments, and led industrial and political campaigns for the Australian Manufacturing Workers’ Union.
