Euan Tiernan

Euan Tiernan is the Labor candidate for the seat of Lockyer. Bringing with him a fresh outlook, Tiernan wants to see Labor win this election because he knows only Labor will invest in the Lockyer community for the next generation.

Euan believes in community and knows Labor Governments always do what matters when it comes to strengthening and making communities safer.

Euan was raised by his single dad and says good Labor policy ensured that he didn’t fall through the cracks. He says his community gave him the opportunities to do better and wants to see the same for young Queenslanders in the regions.

The Miles Labor Government is investing in better facilities for the next generation. At Lowood State High, the government is delivering a brand-new horticultural precinct, including hot and green houses, water tanks and garden beds. This builds on the refurbishment of multi-purpose sport courts at Laidley State High School.

Euan has seen firsthand Labor governments do right by local families. But he has also seen communities suffer at the hands of LNP governments.  When David Crisafulli and his LNP were last in Government, they neglected the Lockyer community and sent them backwards.  

Only Labor will do what matters to regional Queenslanders.
