Rebecca Humphreys

As a teacher, Rebecca has seen firsthand the positive impact the Miles Labor Government’s investments in education have had on Queensland students in the regions. She knows that new Premier Steven Miles is doing what matters when it comes to ensuring Queensland kids in the regions have a bright future.

The Miles Labor Government’s cost of living measures has been critical to the community of Gregory who are benefiting from the $1000 energy bill relief, and 20% off car rego. And the $1B investment in the Second Bruce – inland freight route with early works underway is important for local families to get around.

Rebecca says Labor’s Health Big Build has seen many locals benefit from receiving quality healthcare, closer to home. The $26.5 million infrastructure investment will replace the existing Blackwater Multipurpose Health Service with a new facility promises a new era of combined, quality health and aged-care services for the community, and deliver 73 jobs.

This is all at risk under the LNP who last time they were in government sacked teachers and nurses. And the LNP called regional health workers ‘duds’.

The LNP cannot be trusted to look after Queenslanders’ health, and they cannot be trusted to look after Queensland.
