Val Heward

Val Heward is genuine local, born in Nanango and has lived in Kilcoy for 40 years. This is where she raised her children and is an integral part of the community.

Val understands how important the Miles Labor Government’s cost of living relief has been to her community and has seen families in the local area benefit from these measures like the $1000 energy rebate and cheaper rego.

She put her hand up as the Labor candidate because Val knows only Steven Miles and a Labor Government will do what matters for regional Queenslanders like better access to health services closer to home and delivering well paid secure jobs for the regions.

Val has been a Minister with the Wamuran Spiritualist Church and continues to work hard listening and advocating for the local people.
