Sún Etheridge
Labor Candidate for Paddington
Raised in Brisbane’s western suburbs, Sún first moved to Paddington in 1996 and is now raising her family in beautiful Paddington Ward. She has spent the last seven years standing up for nurses, midwives and care workers, and knows people can achieve real change when they work together. Sún has also worked in media, so knows how to advocate for communities and communicate about what we need.
Community values matter to Sún, and she is an active volunteer in local and environment groups, including serving as Vice President of the Petrie Terrace State School Parents and Citizens Association.
As a parent juggling work and family, Sún believes the LNP Council is out of touch with thousands of families just like hers in Paddington Ward. Cost of living is soaring, local families are being priced out of their homes, local roads are more congested by the day – yet the LNP Council is investing in advertising and developing bushland rather than listening to residents and improving their lives.
Sún is committed to advocating for the people of Paddington Ward, and knows we need cost of living relief, housing support, transport connectivity and a Council that is in the fight against climate change.
Sún wants to stand up for Paddington Ward in Brisbane City Council and is committed to fighting for our community.
