Robert Skelton understands the importance of serving his community. As a member of the Australian Defence Force, Robert decided to take up the call to serve Queenslanders as the Leading Firefighter at Queensland airports for nearly 15 years.
He has three children, two daughters and a son, and says even though he has travelled Australia with the ADF, the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland are the most beautiful places in the world. He understands the importance of protecting the unique landscapes of Nicklin, when developing much-needed infrastructure projects to keep Queensland moving.
Robert knows the Palaszczuk Government’s investment in infrastructure projects, such as the Bruce Highway, will keep locals connected, and encourage more Queenslanders to visit the natural Nicklin environment.
Even more so, these projects create jobs for locals, by engaging with local businesses, and supporting small business, the Palaszczuk Government has put Nicklin in the best economic position to recover from the global pandemic.
Whether as a Firefighter, or a member of Annastacia Palaszczuk’s team managing the economic recovery from the COVID-19 health crisis, Robert will always put Queenslanders first.
