Charis lives locally with her husband Sean where they are raising their two daughters, Zoe and Mary.
Charis spent almost ten years working in key government roles that allowed her to have direct influence on policy formulation and development of successful government programs.
For the last four years, she has worked for a trade union, leading campaigns to assist working people secure better wage outcomes and conditions in their workplaces.
As our new Member of Parliament, a priority for Charis will be making sure local families have access to affordable and quality health, education and family support services.
Charis will use her energy and experience to help drive local economic development. She will work tirelessly to attract the new industries needed to support more local jobs, especially for our young people.
