Like many Maroochydore residents, Alison knows just how lucky she is to live in picturesque Maroochydore.
Alison has been a member of community action groups for many years, beginning with Save Mount Coolum in the early 1990s.
Alison’s career as a teacher has spanned over four decades. This invaluable experience has been enhanced by her work in a diverse range of areas including at a café and for a large company.
Alison was a member of the management committee of a Commonwealth Education Centre and worked hard to achieve their triple bottom line of accountability, finance and environment.
Alison is regularly at the local community garden, the community centre and church. She is dedicated to integrity, fairness and environmental conservation and wants to leave a better world for her son.
Alison knows the Palaszczuk Government’s response to COVID-19 has kept Queenslanders safe and is looking forward to working to ensure Queensland’s economic recovery plan can continue under a re-elected Labor government.
