Central Ward

Judi Jabour has lived locally in of New Farm, with her fiancé Linda for 15 years. Growing up in a small country town taught Judi the importance of community and Judi found that sense of community again moving to New Farm.

To represent the residents and families living in the Central Ward, Judi understands the importance of actively engaging with community organisations. Judi is member of Rotary New Farm, Teneriffe Progress Association, Brisbane Pride, and New Farm and Districts Historical Society.

Judi is committed to protecting the unique character of our community, and shares a love and passion for the area, which is why she has chosen to stand as the Labor candidate for Central Ward at the 2020 local government election.

Working with the State Member for McConnel Grace Grace MP Judi has supported locals and associations including QShelter, BRIC Housing, The Old Museum, New Farm Cinemas, and a host of retail and small businesses.
Judi has used her degree in communications and media skills to become a strong voice for the locals on issues such as dog baiting, the chopping down of our beautiful old trees, LGBTIQ issues, and organising community information events.

As a long term local, Judi Jabour is committed to our community and will be a strong voice for Central Ward.
