VOTE LABOR. RESIDENTS NOT RORTS.

Jackie Schneider is the Labor candidate for the Brisbane City Council 2020 Election for the Tennyson Ward.

Jackie has lived in Annerley, in the current ward of Tennyson, for 20 years.

Her son went to local schools and played soccer and cricket with local teams, with Jackie an active supporter.

Jackie works for the state public service in a role connected with the criminal justice system. She also studies part-time, doing a dual degree in political science and German and is a certified translator for German and English.

Jackie is extremely passionate about the Tennyson community. She acted as a community liaison representative for the then “green bridge” (now the Eleanor Schonell Bridge), as well as the Cross River Rail project.  She was actively involved in the successful campaign to save the Dutton Park train station from closure.

Jackie is an avid gardener, creating her own wildlife and insect-friendly garden. She considers herself incredibly lucky to live so conveniently to the city and still have the native wildlife co-existing in this beautiful part of the city. Jackie is very committed to protecting that great quality of life and character of our community.

Jackie is committed to ensuring council transparency, and good local government that works for the people by ending rorts and wastage.  She is proud to be part of Pat Condren’s Labor team.
