Georgia Heath
Georgia lives in Mount Isa with her partner and three children. As the Labor candidate, Georgia wants to work with new Premier Steven Miles on delivering cost of living relief measures like $1000 off energy bills, 20% off rego, cheaper fuel, and Free Kindy.
A start-up business owner, she is dedicated to creating better economic opportunities for young people, especially those who experience disadvantage. She credits the Premier for starting construction work on the $6.2 billion CopperString project that will connect Mount Isa to the SuperGrid for the first time.
Georgia has also worked as a public servant in the Office for Women and in local government. She has been a long-term advocate in ensuring all people get a fair go, that’s why she is committed to continuing the Miles Labor Government’s plan in doing what matters for Queensland.
Ensuring all Queenslanders are safe through preventative programs and early intervention is what drives Georgia and she knows that this is part of the Miles Labor Government’s comprehensive Community Safety plan.
She knows all this is at risk under the LNP who when they were last in government sacked nurses, teachers and police.
